Yesterday congress came to an agreement and is expected to pass the new stimulus bill. It will contain some good news and some bad news
Good news – The bill will include $25 billion in rent relieve programs for tenants that are behind on rent payments. It will also include direct payments of $600 to each adult and child earning below $75,000. Unemployment payments will be experience at $300 per week.
Bad News – the CDC eviction moratorium will that was schedule to end December 31 has been extended to January 31. And do not be surprised this is further extended as we get close to that date as the courts can NOT handle the wave of evictions that are coming.
